Homestay:

Another important aspect of the English learning process is the Homestay program. The school has carefully engaged a series of beautiful residences and conscientious families who are committed to providing a meaningful international experience. International guests have a first-rate Canadian family experience. We offer homestays with Canadian families, who have been carefully selected by our housing coordinator to ensure the best situations for living and studying. Of course, each student has his or her private room; sheet and towel service and breakfast and dinner service. Students are expected to participate with the family in tasks and outings. We take care to match the student’s needs and requests with the appropriate host family to provide a safe, attractive and friendly environment. All of our homestays are located with excellent access to the college and public transportation facilities.

Our Homestay program is very popular with students, and we strongly recommend students to participate. Our Homestay program offers students an opportunity to practice their English language skills while learning about Canadian culture and family life.

The main purpose of matching students with Canadian families is to provide a safe and supportive place to live while studying. Both the student and the Canadian host family can have a valuable learning experience: the student can learn about Canadian culture and Canadian families can learn about the culture and lifestyle of the student’s country of origin.

Goals of the Homestay Program

· To facilitate the student’s learning of the English language
· To give the student the opportunity to participate in Canadian culture, lifestyle and family life
· To provide a more structured environment for younger students to learn and mature
